Discovering a New Creative Flow While Sheltering in Place

Updated: Jul 15, 2020

First the shock. Then the fear. Then the introspective part - examining what is important and what is not so important. Prioritizing. New routines. The old ones no longer exist. Then the creativity. After being distracted and disorganized, I am feeling innovative - which is invigorating and exciting.

I am weaving and shibori dyeing some fabulous wraps, shrugs, mobius twists and tunics - most are 100% linen, with my signature silk and linen selvedge, as well as some in a mix of linen and silk. I’ve ordered some new textured natural fibers, which I am excited about experimenting with.
